- 2 / 5By Sammy RossThe room I was given was right next to the lift - which can be heard quite clearly any time it is used (and it is not turned off during the early hours). Also an exceptionally hot room! When asked reception re the lift, the two answers I received 'it states so on the website' - clearly a way to get around foreseen complaints, and 'some people like that room' - a patronising answer if I ever heard one. A shame, as the hotel is in a lovely location, and the restaurant and bar are served very nicely. For the price paid I expect better!June 15, 2016
